Deer Elliot (Josh Hutcherson) always wanted to get into the reindeer sleigh of Santa Claus and deliver gifts for children. After learning that a few days before Christmas, one of Santa's reindeer retired, Elliot decided that this was his chance to fulfill the dream of a lifetime. He has only 3 days to pass a very difficult selection at the North pole and bypass all rivals.
