In the center of the plot is an agent of the CIA working in Indonesia who is getting the task to deliver an important informer on board the aircraft, on which the exposure of a political corrupt conspiracy depends. Between them and the rescue plane only 22 miles of the way, but the deadly traps have already been set up, and nearby armed hiding hoods.

"22 miles" - an American action movie, which became a new collaboration of actor Mark Wahlberg and director Peter Berg ("Survivor", "Deepwater horizon"). Also in the film were John Malkovich, Lauren Cohen ("Walking Dead"), Ronda Rauzi ("The Expendables 3", "Fast and the Furious 7") and the star of the action-dilogy "Reid" Iko Yuvays.
