The plot is based on the eponymous British mini-series 1983 and is dedicated to the history of the robbery in Chicago, during which all four armed criminals were killed. Under pressure from the police and a rival gang of gangsters, the thieves 'widows decide to finish their husbands' work by completing a failed RAID instead. When the situation heated up to the limit, Veronika (viola Davis), Alice (Elizabeth Debicki), Linda (Michelle Rodriguez) and bell (Cynthia AREVA) take destiny into their own hands and decide to create a future on their own terms.
